Who We Are
The Southwick Land Trust is a non-profit, non-governmental organization of community volunteers. We are governed by a board of trustees and bylaws as well as by votes taken by our members at an annual meeting.

Who are our board of trustees? We truly are an inter-generational group and we reflect a diversity of backgrounds. Some of us have farmland in town that has been continuously farmed by our families for over 100 years and some of us are newer Southwick residents that arrived in town within the last 10 years. Amongst our group we have teachers, a designer, a lawyer, an owner/operator of a tractor trailer, and some who are retired. We all believe that conserving land and safeguarding our local ecology and wildlife takes a coalition and is a long-term mission.

Who are our members? Members are anyone who makes a tiered donation! You don't need to be a resident of Southwick become a member. Your membership with SLT furthers the conservation of Southwick's ecological, scenic, historic, and agricultural lands, makes recreational opportunities accessible for all, and gives you a voice at the annual meeting. Collectively, we can make a difference locally and regionally by protecting our rural heritage and diverse ecology. Click here to become a member!
