Welcome to our logo contest!
​
We are a new organization and are looking to develop a logo for the trust. We invite members of the community at large to help us create a unique and captivating logo that embodies the essence of our organization! The Southwick Land Trust is dedicated to the conservation and preservation of the natural beauty found in our town of Southwick, Massachusetts.
The Southwick Land Trust’s Mission: Protect Southwick's rural heritage and its diverse ecology by acquiring and permanently conserving natural corridors, wildlife habitats, scenic, historic and agricultural land while also promoting awareness of open space and making access easier and enjoyable for all.

The Southwick Land Trust is committed to safeguarding our local environment. With a focus on our mountains, lakes, forests, wildlife, streams as well as farmland, we aim to ensure the longevity, viability, and accessibility of these natural wonders for generations to come. Our tagline, “Rooted in Preservation", reflects our deep connection to the land, our dedication to honoring its heritage and our commitment to see as much of it as possible protected.

Design Criteria:

Original Graphics Only: We are looking for originally-created graphics. No photographs, please.

Vector Format: Please submit your work in a vector format only as the logo will eventually be scaled to use on the SLT website, printed promotional material and correspondence, t-shirts, baseball caps, horizontal and vertical banners, and more. Please also keep in mind it will mostly be used against a white background.

Three Colors Maximum: Your design should incorporate a maximum of three colors to maintain simplicity and versatility, please.

Natural Elements: Feel free to integrate mountains, lakes, forests, local wildlife/animals, streams, and/or farmland into your design, reflecting the diverse landscapes we strive to protect.

SLT Abbreviation: We invite you to explore the use of "SLT" as an abbreviation for the Southwick Land Trust, adding a subtle touch of identity to the logo.

Logo Orientation: Please include both a landscape and portrait orientation.
